That means if you average about a pack a day, you are spending close to $38 per week. This means in an average month, you are devoting $150 to cigarettes, which is nearly $2,000 per year. That’s a lot of money for a habit, and that’s if you only smoke a pack a day.
Vaping is much, much cheaper. When you first start, you may need to spend a lot, but the upkeep is minimal. For instance, for a decent electronic cigarette or vaporizer, you will need to spend $50 or more, but this is really just a one-time purchase unless you want to eventually upgrade: devices last for years under normal conditions.
After you buy your device, all you need to do is find the liquid you like to use, which will cost around five or six dollars on average. But a vial of liquid will last you much, much longer than a pack of cigarettes would, meaning you can vape often without the high cost.
Vaping Smells Better
One of the best benefits of vaping is that you can use different flavorings to find the right liquid for you.
Rather than getting the tobacco smell all over your house and your clothes, e-liquids have a variety of scents to choose from. You can find flavorings that taste like dessert, like apple pie or cherry cheesecake, or you can find flavorings that remind you of famous drinks — pina Coladas and margaritas. In fact, you’ll be hard-pressed to search for a flavor and not find it.
Vaping is Healthier
While inhaling anything into your lungs is never 100% safe, vaping is a much safer alternative to smoking cigarettes.

As mentioned before, not only is vaping a healthier alternative, you can also vape to help wean yourself off of any type of smoking for good: you can step down your nicotine dosage with your electronic cigarette until you don’t need it anymore.
The best choice for your health will always be avoiding to inhale anything into your lungs. However, vaping can be a great choice for people who want to smoke but who want to avoid harmful chemicals in tobacco.
