Successful people are different from everyone else because they have a number of habits that allow them to accomplish everything they want.

Admit it. Sometimes you wish you were someone else. Someone else who is massively successful, wealthy and happy. If you happen to be one of those successful people, you will be living in your dream house, driving your dream car and working in your dream job.

Everything you’ve ever wanted to have, now you can have them just by snapping your fingers. Success comes to you easily and naturally, almost effortlessly. Your life is full of joy, excited opportunities, and never-ending success.

It is just a fantasy for you, isn’t it?

What if I tell you, you can be that person, as long as you have the exact same habits that successful people have?

“You are what you repeatedly do” ~ Aristotle.

It turns out, massively successful people are different from the world because they’ve developed a set of habits that allow them to achieve everything they ever wanted.

So if you want to be as successful as they are, you have to be a copycat and develop the same habits they have.

Here are the top 10 habits that almost guarantee success.

1. Get up early

About 90 out of 100 successful people get up early. Well, unlike most of us, some people are born with luck, that their bodies can function well with very little sleep while the rest of us need around 7 to 9 hours a day to fully recover.

However, if you are just an ordinary person with a common sleeping habit, do not try to cut your sleeping time from 7 to 4 hours. That’s unhealthy. Instead, it is recommended that you go to bed early and get up early.

Getting up early can boost your energy level, while you feel like you have more time for yourself. Because you are free of noise, occupy and chores at that time.

2. Exercise is a priority

You know exercise is good for your health. And you try to do it. But you are so busy sometimes that you skip your exercise. Sometimes several days in a row. Sometimes a week.

But massively successful people know that they need exercise to keep themselves in peak performance. When you work out, your body releases endorphins, a hormone that reduces pain and makes you feel good.

So instead of letting their normal busy days get in the way, they make their exercise session a priority and they are committed to it.

3. Give your body enough rest

You cannot have success in an instant. It takes time and hard work. But hard work is meaningless without sustainability. Instead of working yourself until exhaustion, block your resting time on your calendar.

4. Create multiple income streams

No successful people have only one income source. They all have different sources here and there. Are you a successful writer? You can also be a coach, an instructor, a teacher to teach others how to do the same.

5. Beat the procrastination monster

Time is money. Successful people know that. While you are wasting your time on social media and internet browsing, they are reading a new book in their free time, taking a nap so that they can boost their energy level up again, thinking about their new strategy or meditating.

Never wait for 5 minutes to start something. If that is important to you, start right away.

6. Find your dream and pursue it only

You have been listening to what people say your whole life. Sometimes you are aware of it, sometimes not.

Believe it or not, but the career you are working on right now might not be the one you’ve always dreamed about. Maybe it’s something other people keep telling you, so much that you believe it comes from you.

Slow down. Dig deeper into your subconscious mind. Ask yourself what you really want to do. And go get it. Successful people are not people who blindly do the things that they were told. They do the things that they love.

7. Defeat your fear

We all have fears. Fear of the unknown, fear of rejection or even fear of success. And sometimes those fears are the biggest obstacles that stop you from achieving your dream.

Your fears get the best of you, make your inner-critic tells you lies, and talks you out of your opportunities. Instead of giving it a second thought, successful people face their fears directly and they go for it.

8. Never give up

When it comes to success, you will learn that persistence is the key. The key to everything indeed. There are times the success is just right at the corner, but people don’t see that and they give up.

It is frustrating when you try and try and try every day while no one or nothing shows up and tells you how long you have to try before you become successful. But if you just hang on, it will be all worth it.

9. Learn, learn and learn

You will fail a lot. No matter how hard you work and how carefully you prepare.

Because life happens. And it’s okay.

But every time you fail, you have a chance to get back up. And when you get back up, you learn a thing or two. There is always room for improvement. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes and learning from them.

10. Meditate

Meditation is a great natural, drug-free method to calm you down, relax your mind and body, and help you to connect deeper with your inner self. It also helps to clear your mind and reconnect your brain cells.

You don’t have to sweat about meditation. Just 5 to 10 minutes a day would make a difference in your life.

Don’t break the chain.

Here is one thing about habit, you can make it or break it. It is like a pet or a plant that needs your constant attention. It is something you need to do every day to keep it alive.

Once you created a habit, don’t break the chain.

Get a calendar and mark the day that you’ve followed a new habit. Connect the previous days to it if they are in sequence. That way, you will see how long the domino chain you’ve created, and it is harder to break the chain.

There is no secret to success. If you want to be successful, create those habits for yourself. Imagine one day someone else will be looking up to you, trying to figure out the habits that you have and try to replicate them.

It can happen. With one condition. You have to start today.
