8. Dandelion tea
Since it is a common weed, it is very easy to acquire. However, this plant has numerous health benefits. One of those is its efficiency for gas relief. You can drink it as a tea or add it as a dried spice to your meal.
It is quite popular and delicious for its taste, but very few people know its medicinal properties. For example, cinnamon can be used to alleviate bloating.
It has high concentrations of antioxidants which work as a powerful anti-inflammatory. Plus, cinnamon also reduces the pressure that builds up in your abdomen.
10. Activated charcoal
The American Journal of Gastroenterology has carried out many studies which demonstrated that activated charcoal “(…) is an effective remedy for preventing intestinal gas that occurs as a result of a gas-producing meal”.
You can consume it in the form of supplements.
