Let’s learn how you can get rid of a headache by mixing two of the simplest ingredients. Everyone experiences a bad headache or a migraine at some point in their lives, or maybe even on a regular basis.

The effects of the pain can be seriously debilitating, and yet they affect so many of us on a regular basis. In fact, severe headaches affect over 12% of the US population – this means that headaches are affecting over 12% of the US population’s lives.

However, instead of using artificial drugs, why not try a natural remedy to get rid of a headache?

There are a number of natural solutions to terrible headaches that do not have any of the nasty side effects that the prescribed drugs do.

Make one of the most effective home remedies to get rid of a headache by using two of the simplest ingredients – Himalayan Salt and Lemon.

1. Himalayan Salt

Himalayan salt can be bought from any good supermarket and has some incredible benefits, including its high levels of sodium, which has a huge role in regulating the body’s fluids.

Without the right amount of sodium in your body, precious fluids would lose their water content, causing dehydration and even death. Consuming the right amount of salt is necessary to staying hydrated and dehydration is one of the most common causes of headaches.

2. Lemon

Lemon juice with water has been proven to be a great method for keeping you hydrated and improving your digestion, especially when it’s drunk in the morning. When drunk with the Himalayan salt, the lemon helps your body to get the full benefits of the sodium and fully digest the salt.

How to make it

Mixing these two powerful ingredients is simple – all you do is squeeze half a lemon, mix it with water and then add in two teaspoons of Himalayan salt and stir until it dissolves. You can drink the mixture while it’s hot, or wait for it to cool down.
