Hilarious Comics Show the Differences Between Cats and Dogs

Who wouldn’t love being the owner of a fluffy kitty that purrs softly when you stroke it?

And who wouldn’t enjoy the companion of a playful dog? After all, it is considered to be man’s best friend.

Nobody can deny that both cats and dogs are the most popular pets in the world.

However, there are many differences between a dog and a cat, including its physical features, nature, and character.

Russian artist Bird Born has created a hilarious series of comics to show six major differences between these lovely pets. He is mostly focusing on differences in their character, in a light-hearted way.

Although he finished his comics about a year ago, they have a classic feel and remind us of the ones we used to read in our childhood.

This talented Moscow-based illustrator created an amazing series of comics about cats and dogs that you will certainly enjoy!

When coming home from a long day at work, a pet owner would be happy to find his dog greeting him excitedly. A cat wouldn’t react this way.

Dogs are far more enthusiastic and they always show their affection. Cats, on the other hand, tend to be affectionate towards their owners but don’t always express it.

Bird Born uses his humoristic illustrations to show the differences between cats and dogs when it comes to their diet.

Although cats are more selective with food, dogs can express their excitement even if you give them a bone, which is both food and a toy for them.

In his illustrations, Bird Born presents cats as a great sleeping companion. Cats sleep up to 16 hours a day and they always choose to sleep in a place where they feel secure.

That’s why it is very common for a cat to sleep in the same bed with its owner. On the contrary, dogs can sleep anywhere.

Both cats and dogs are wonderful animals, but sometimes they can really make a mess and that makes their owners pretty angry! According to Bird Born’s illustrations, although a dog would feel guilty when being told off by his owner for the mess he has made, a cat wouldn’t probably feel guilty at all!

When it comes to the relationship between these pets and humans, Bird Born has spotted a great difference: while dogs love to please you, cats can be independent, less affectionate and always love to please themselves.

Dogs wag their tail or even their whole body to show their affection. On the other hand, cats will only show affection by allowing you to scratch them behind the ears.

Bird Born’s illustrations successfully highlight the differences between cats and dogs. Despite these differences, the unique qualities of these lovely pets are surely endearing to us.

Cats are cute and lovable creatures, but they can sometimes be a true mystery to us humans. These creative comics, called Cat Versus Human, perfectly describe the difficulties a cat owner faces when dealing with the phenomenon of ‘cat logic’.
