There was a boy in high school and one day he saw a boy from his class, called Kyle, walking home having been in school.

Kyle was carrying all his books from school. The boy thought “why would he be taking all his books home from school on the weekend? He must be a nerd.”

The boy, as always, had a busy weekend of parties and football with his friends and carried on having forgotten about Kyle. As the boy walked off, a group of kids ran towards Kyle and as they ran into him, his books dropped all over the floor.

He fell over in the dirt, he lost his glasses and his books were scattered. The boy looked at Kyle and just saw sadness. The boy went over to Kyle, handed him his glasses and told him “those kids were idiots, forget them.”

Kyle genuinely smiled and said “thanks” with total gratitude. The new friend helped Kyle up, helped him collect his books and they had a conversation and found that they lived close to each other. The boy asked Kyle why he had not seen him before.

Kyle had previously gone to a private school which is why the boy hadn’t seen him much. The boy didn’t hang out with private school kids. Kyle and the boy got on really well so Kyle was invited to play football on Saturday.

They hung out all weekend and the more the boy got to know Kyle the more he liked him. The boy’s friends also really liked Kyle too. The boy saw Kyle on Monday with all his books and said to him “you are going to have massive muscles if you carry those books every day.”
