If you are one of those who has never heard of this ailment, it is an incurable condition caused by a disruption in the nerve system, which makes the legs move uncontrollably and twitch too. This condition is horrific since it mostly happens at night causing leg cramps. It is also manifested by cramps on the arms, torso, and even the head.

Another downside to this illness is that it is really painful and can cause itchiness that can be eased by walking around. Bottom-line, this is a condition that can be pretty hard to handle.

Try Bar Soap to Relive the Syndrome

There is no cure for this condition but a remedy has been discovered that can help ease the cramps. Bar soap. Yes, bar soap! According to those who have tried this trick, it works quite well in relieving the RLS symptoms. The bar soap has to be placed between the sheets or under the very bottom sheet for better results.

The trick here is to use fresh soap after every month since it dries with time releasing fewer ions which are not as helpful. Yes! Soap releases ions which work magic in relieving the RLS symptoms. This cure has attracted a huge following that it has been a subject of discussion in popular medical talk shows like “The Dr. Oz Show,” and” The Doctors,”.

Guess what? Dr. Mehmet Oz (The Dr. Oz Show) also recommended the solution while a poll done by Dr. Jim Sears (The Doctors) on Twitter revealed that 42 percent of the users found soap very useful for to relieve nighttime leg cramps.

Well, there is no scientific evidence, but what have you got to lose?

You should avoid Dove or Dial though – according to many testimonies, they don’t work. The reason? Your guess is as good as any!
