Jumping from one mood to the next simply because at times, I could hardly see the bend on the path in front of me. Well, that is not a way to live. As human beings, we need stability and we also need to know that sometimes, things add up into a bigger picture. I am writing this article not to have a blog, but as advice to my readers, quit living day to day, be something greater.
Some of us are not as lucky as others to have a job they love, a hobby that makes them money, or even a wardrobe that makes us feel good. In the long run, that does not matter. Even if you hate your job, you can still be the best employee that the company has ever seen.
If your hobby does not make you money, so what? Do it because it makes you happy and lets you forget about your problems for a little while. As long as you are passionate about what you do, you can trick yourself into feeling better about the situation, until eventually, it does get better.
One of the main things that held me back from taking many of the opportunities that were presented to me was the fear of failure. I was afraid I would never be good enough. From a college grading to strictly, to not performing as well as a job, I was afraid to make that step.
Once I got over that fear and gave it a try, I was amazed to find out that you know what, it looks harder than it is. In many cases, that is how it is. You need to step into the situation and give it some time, more than likely; you will find you have made a step for the better.
I never realized how much of a control freak, I was until I had to let go. If you try to control every situation down to the last detail, you will become disappointed, discouraged, or maybe even depressed. Needless to say, let some of the details up in the air, just nail down the biggest points.
No paragraph needed for this. Let go of your pride and let someone help you if he or she is genuine in their efforts to help you. There is no need to suffer because of your pride. There is nothing to be ashamed about, some people definitely can help you conquer anxiety.
One of the things that held me back the most was fearing that I would make a mistake. While yeah I made a few wrong turns, I had to accept that everything was going to come back to the same path if I tried hard enough. If you want to go in a different direction, go for it. Never look back with regret. It is a great trait if you can simply accept each situation as a learning experience.
As a writer, I am here to tell a story. Too often I am writing to you about the advice that others have told me or something I learned somewhere else. Not too often can I feel as though I can give you heartfelt advice. You, my readers, are truly what makes me want to write these articles.
I hope that you enjoyed this piece and that perhaps you or a friend can use my advice to advance your life. I look forward to your comments!
